Sly's Radio Biography

From Pioneer Radio to Colourful Radio DAB+, Sly has built an outstanding career spanning more than three decades, becoming one of the UK’s respected Soul, Reggae, Lovers Rock and Soca broadcasters and DJs.

Sly’s passion for music began in 1979 after purchasing his first record, Back Together Again by Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway. Inspired by iconic Soul and Reggae radio shows, he launched his broadcasting career in the late 1980s with Pioneer Radio. Over the years, Sly has presented on several leading UK radio stations, including FLR/Fusion Radio, Sound Radio, Life FM/BANG Radio, and currently hosts Soul & Reggae Sundays on Colourful Radio DAB+. Alongside interviewing renowned artists, producing radio commercials, and performing across London, Sly continues to share his passion for quality Soul, Reggae, Lovers Rock and Soca music with audiences worldwide.
